Introduction

Professor Jinsu Byun focuses his research on sports organizations, governance, and policy theory. His work explores ways to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of sports organizations and policies to create social value. His main research areas include the sustainability of sporting events, the development of sport governance theories and models, and organizational change and innovation in response to technological, institutional, and social transformations. His research has been published in leading national and international journals, including European Sport Management Quarterly, Sport Management Review, and Journal of Sport Management.
